ABOUT US
Two sisters.
One mission.
Make family travel easier.
We are San and Jo — two sisters who love turning real-life trips into clearer, calmer and better family travel plans" is te lang en te abstract.
OUR STORY
“You always find the best things to do.”
We have heard that for years. From friends, colleagues, other parents at school. And honestly, we get it. When you travel with children, you want to get it right. No wasted day on a disappointing stop. No endless scrolling through vague reviews.
We, San and Jo, are exactly like that. Our thing is figuring it all out before we go. Which beaches are really worth it, which restaurants are family-friendly without being boring, and which activities still make the adults smile too.
We travel every school holiday. And when we are not away, we are already preparing the next trip. Every destination gets explored, every activity gets reviewed, and every practical note gets written down.
At some point we thought: why keep all of this to ourselves? All those plans, all those notes, all those day-by-day route ideas can help other families too. So here we are.
"We figure it out first, so you can make the most of it. No fuss, just a solid plan."

THE TEAM
The sisters behind the guides

San
Planner & researcher
Does not stop until every day of the trip has a shape. Finds the best activities, the restaurants worth booking, and the beaches that really work for families.

Jo
Explorer & storyteller
Always chasing the unexpected. Finds the places that do not make the standard guidebooks and turns them into stories and practical ideas that families can actually use.
HOW WE WORK
From research to your next family trip
Everything we publish goes through this process so you know it is grounded in real experience.
We research it first
Weeks before a trip, we dive into the destination. What is worth your time? Which hidden gems still work with kids? We map it all out.
We travel it ourselves
Every trip we take feeds what we write. We know what it's like to find a restaurant that works for everyone, or discover that a 'family-friendly' beach really isn't. That real experience shapes everything.
We shape it into a plan
All of that experience becomes a clear guide. Day-by-day ideas, honest notes, and the details you actually need on the road.
We share it with you
Through our site and guides you get everything we figured out, as if a well-prepared friend handed you the plan.
OUR FAMILY
Meet our kids

Rosanne
13 years old
Lives for discovering new places and already dreams of exploring the street food, temples, and buzzing neighbourhoods of Japan one day. Creates her own travel content on the site and on her Instagram — from packing tips to honest activity reviews, all from a teen perspective. And she is brutally honest: if something is boring, overpriced, or not worth the queue, she will say so. If your teenager is hard to impress, Rosanne has probably already filtered out the duds for you.

Laura
11 years old
Always the first one in the water and the last one to leave the trail. Dreams of chasing the northern lights in Lapland — with huskies, reindeer, and a pair of skis. On the road, she is the one who spots things the rest of us miss. She will tell you which beaches are worth the hike, which ice cream shop has the biggest scoops, and which shortcuts actually save time."

Coco
5 years old
Thinks every holiday is one big treasure hunt. Loves collecting shells, spotting animals, and will happily taste anything if you tell her it is a local specialty. Dreams of meeting her favourite Disney characters at Disneyworld — preferably in a princess dress she picked herself. On our trips, she is living proof that five-year-olds have very strong opinions about where to eat, what to see, and exactly how long a car ride is allowed to take.

Lou
2 years old
Believes every puddle is worth jumping in and every hotel room is worth exploring at full speed. Still too young to remember most trips, but already the one who sets the pace for the whole family. Dreams of meeting her Paw Patrol heroes at Movie Park — especially Chase. On the road, she is our real-life test for everything: if a restaurant is patient enough for Lou, it is patient enough for any family.
